owsf2000My bank card was just eaten by an ATM machine. I guess there's a first time for everything, although this complicates my day some. I'm going to catch the bus at the end of the hour downtown, from there I'll wander a bit and end up at my bank to report the loss and get a new one working for me. When I got my first card it was just a matter of minutes to get it set up, so this should be the same. My love of Interact just gained a few points. Luckily I have like 3-4 dollars in dimes. I'll use that to pay for the bus downtown :P There'll be enough left over to buy a cola at the mall before moving on to the bank.
Assuming there are no mess ups with this, and there shouldn't be... I suppose I'll take the chance to get some extra boxes I'll need for moving.

Date: 2005-11-19 11:01 am (UTC)This was reason 3 I guess. The damned thing got jammed. It attempted to return it to me 5 times before giving up. It had even approved the withdrawl, but upon failure to return the card, it also decided to cancel and reverse the withdrawl. Got a new card anyway - and going to the store again this morning. This time I'll just pay by interac.
