Free Culture
Sep. 17th, 2008 07:57 amI seem to be on a posting spree this week.
Anyway, I'm currently downloading a torrent of an audiobook remix of Lawrence Lessig's book "Free Culture". It's legal to do so, the book is under Creative Commons licensing which allows for noncommercial adaptations etc. I know I wouldn't have had the patience to sit down and read the book on the computer (or off the computer really.) so finding someone has done up an audio book of it is good. I can listen to it even as I walk to work - and I plan to do just that later today.

This site has several other versions and formats of the book. I'm downloading the "Noa Resare (single download)" audio version. I doubt I'll actually review what I've heard, as I don't usually do that kind of thing, but we'll see what happens. I'll at least give my general opinions on it afterwards.
