Also, finished Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin today for the game list. Didn't get everything unlocked or done, but I don't hold that as a requirement for The List. (Besides, I still have my savegame where I DO have everything unlocked. ^_-)

So this makes the list total 9 games. .... 6 of them are castlevanias. O.o;;

Not sure what game I'll follow up on the DS/GBA yet, much like not sure what I'll swap in for the PSP now that I finshed the rondo of blood remake. Didn't play much Dynasty Warriors over the last few days - focused on Portrait of Ruin to get it solved in a few days. ^_^; I'll get back to strengthening some of the characters for musou modes starting tomorrow.

It's so easy for me to want games by Atlus and Nis America. Lately tho the releases seem to be by Atlus. The problem is I can't really afford them just now! :P Just saw another DS game released that I wouldn't mind playing, even tho I can't remember the name offhand. It comes with a free CD tho! :P So add this to the growing list of games I'm on the look out for, plus Ar Tonelico 2 should be out any day now. I told my sister if she's going to get me anything for christmas, to get me a gift card for HMV, since that's where I buy my games at least half the time these days. I'll end up picking up a copy of Star Ocean on the PSP with that (although I'm sure I'll still have to pay for half of it myself.)

When it comes to Ar Tonelico 2, I think I'm going to play through the first one again prior to starting 2. I'll try to get all conversations unlocked, although I'll need a couple save games for that since to unlock one girl's conversations completely you miss some conversations from the others according to the FAQs.

I'm not sure how I got games for myself while christmas shopping, but regardless, I know own Eternal Poison (damn you Atlus!) and Fable: The Lost Chapters. I'm going to assume I don't need the original game for Lost Chapters. >_> I was going to give Lost Chapters to my little sister for christmas since she wanted Fable (which is rated T iirc) but Lost Chapters is rated M. So it's mine instead. ^^

I'll have to pick up the original one for her the next time I'm at Gamezilla it seems. Nowhere else in town that I've been has a copy. (heck, few places even carry original xbox games period anymore. It won't be too long before I expect to see ebgames giving them the push to the curb.) Luckily (for her!) she said she wouldn't mind secondhand games.

*edit*

After a quick glance at ebgames to confirm the rating, looks like the original is also M. She's already been playing it, which is why she knows she wants it but hm. Guess I'll get the ok from our parents prior to going to pick it up.

I almost have Order of Ecclesia completed. I'm only missing one glyph so far, and I know where it is. In fact, the damned thing was on the screen when I died last. You basically get this one in battle against a boss, making a total of 4 glyphs that you obtain in this way. Just like some of the regular enemies, the bosses cast it during battle at which point you have to absorb it.

I think I only have 2 quests left for the townsfolk as well. One involves getting my hands on some cashmeresilk (total of 5 - I only have one and no idea where the heck I got it anymore.) and the vampire slaying mission given to me by the mother. (That's the boss that has the last glyph so naturally...!)

After that I'll just have to run back to Dracula and take him down.

I'll probably get that done by the end of the weekend. X_x

*update*

Got the remaining glyphs, finished the remaining townsfolk quests, and kicked Dracula's ass. The battle starts off pretty cliche and predictable, but he ends up having a heck of a lot of attacks by the end. I don't know how to avoid them all either but luckily I could avoid them enough to win.

... I don't know how many endings there are in the game. I've seen the bad end, and this end. I'm assuming that this is the Best End since odds are it would be tied to how many glyphs you obtained. (I had 100%)

It's possible there's a less optimum ending if you fail to obtain a particular glyph. There's only one glyph in the game that you have one chance at obtaining - and if you defeat that boss without getting the glyph I haven't seen any other opportunity to obtain it. Don't have the energy to go through the game to test this however. >_>

And so I now own Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, and Yggdra Union. Hopefully I'll be able to contain myself and avoid further purchases until december when Ar Tonelico 2 is suppose to come out.

I'm getting close to finishing .hack//GU I think. I'll try finishing it a little later tonight, assuming the next dungeon is the last/nearlast. Current level is about 140. Been doing a few random dungeons and all that. Going to unlock the remaining lost weapons before heading to The Last Boss.

I had plans for revamping the Malgorian Dimension earlier in the year with php to make it easily updatable. just upload a few files and poof! the php will sort everything out on it's own. The earlier plans called for a complete revamp of the site but the layout of the site was getting hard to actually impliment.

So, I'm probably going to go over the older designs I have written up and see about converting the data portions to work with what's already on the site. Fairly easy and fairly simplistic.. I think. The site will end up eventually being a creative outlet for me. When I draw new comics or art, I'll post it there, if I write games, I'll post them there, if I actually start trying to do something with music (I've been tempted to dabble in console generated music on the 7800 - using a pokey-enabled cartridge for instance) then I'll post it there as well. Additionally any stories I'll write, including OW! related stuff, I'll add to it. How it'll end up, I'm not sure. The attempt might just fizzle again.

Another part that I'll be adding will be a "Games Completed" listing. I'll basically keep track of all the games I complete there on the main page. From there, if the php part gets done, I'll likely add review pages and the like. (I've filled Kane in on some of the planned ideas for it already. If I actually start making progress on it, I'll go into more detail here as well. ^^)

For current games, it's fairly easy to add most any game ot the list. as almost everything can be completed. I will however want to add favorites and the like from older consoles that aren't always completable. (most atari 2600 games for instance!) Oh well. Something to work on now that I've finished up most of the work with the Diamond Reach lua conversion I mentioned a few months back. Still got to finish the other area I have for Aardwolf on builders port, and I'll be working more on that, but I'll have some time for a while to dabble with php and the new website design's functionality/layout.

As per slashdot, Atari is apparently on the warpath to stamp out bad reviews of it's latest game, Alone in the Dark. Predictably enough, about x100 more people know about the negative reviews as well as Atari's attempt to strongarm reviewers of the game they pretty much banked their (Atari's) future on.

I for one, didn't particularly even know about Alone in the Dark. Now I do. Now I also don't feel like purchasing it. Essentially, since Atari refused to send them official review copies despite being asked, the reviewers went out and bought them as soon as they could. In one case, this was actually before the official street date. One store basically sold it to them early. As such, Atari accused that group, along with 2 other groups that released their reviews after the street date, of illegally downloading it. All things being said, I'm far more willing to believe Atari is just trying to crush bad reviews since this game is so important to their fiscal year.
