I semi-sorta fell last night while trying to change a lightbulb. Good news is that I don't seem to be too hurt from it, although the little toe is in need of healing up. The skin was torn but there was very little blood. I wiped around it and it seems to be clotting itself up without any special attention. Not really any pain either although I'm going to worry about trying to walk to work tonight.

The bigger problem is that in the fall I sort of fell against what's holding up the computer. It's been acting loud and funny since. I may have to step up my plans to get the new computer in favor of trying for the PS3 first. The computer is working currently but I'll likely be turning it off when not in use for a while... Heck, it wouldn't even turn on at all the first time I tried it this morning.

I'm not entirely sure what the issue with the noise is either. It's probably the fans hitting something, which means as it becomes quieter it probably has whatever was touching it pushed out of the way. >_> It's happened in the past several times and has gone away afterwards.. so I'm hoping it's just an issue with having nudged it. The 500gig external might be a bigger source of worry however. It was on top of the computer and fell to the floor in the process. The connectors seem bent but still ok perhaps. I haven't tested it yet however.

Or it has rubbed against it enough to burn/eat through it... >_>;;;

If there's a wire or something touching the fan blade, you'd probably be much better off finding it and moving it out of the way yourself, rather just hoping the fan will eventually push it out of the way. ^^;

True, although I never actually notice anything touching it when I look. So unless something falls in front of it or something... It could also just be the fan itself dying. >_> Don't know which situation I prefer if I had to choose... A third potential is that it's just the fan itself struggling or something.

Either way the noises have once again gone back to normal yet again, but I'm still probably going to shut down while I'm gone to work.
