The phone company was suppose to send a technician over on saturday to hook up my internet (a packaged deal and I know from experience the speed is good. :P) however it seems like they don't know how to use a phone.

They didn't give me an appointment time, so at any time during the day they could have arrived. Since it's an apartment building I was TOLD they were going to call ahead. I'm guessing they saw the intercom system in the lobby and tried that. The problem is, the intercom doesn't really work for my apartment. So if they used that, I never knew about it, and they would have probably thought I wasn't home even tho they should have known I was expecting them at any time during the day and thus wouldn't LEAVE. -_-

I'm expecting to get a call on monday morning explaining the failure to hook it up on saturday and to determine a new time to send someone over. I will be explicitly demanding an approximate time and insure they know not to use the intercom this time. The earliest I'll be back is tuesday. I'm at my sister's right now.
