Apartment Hunt 3
Oct. 19th, 2005 01:38 pmWell, I've found a place. I have the rental application here which I'm taking to work tonight. I told the landlady that I'll call her tomorrow and arrange a time to drop off the application to her. Hopefully nothing will screw this up... I want definites here. -_- The apartment is just 1 bedroom, and would be kind of small for more than one person. It'll just be me however so it should be more than enough.
There shouldn't be any problem however, goddammit. From what she told me, other people living in the building was an elderly man, some people that worked night shift similar to me, and some students. Now if STUDENTS are able to rent there, someone working full time had better be as well. >_>
Otherwise:
Pets allowed, somewhat. Cats should be ok I was told. (plus)
Heat/Hot Water included. (plus)
Secure Building. (plus)
Month-to-month Lease type thing. (plus)
Laundry Facilities. (plus) - These were mentioned in the paper although I forgot to ask exactly how it's set up. I suspect it's coin operated machines for the building. There are laundromats nearby regardless.
So all I need to do is pay electricity / phone / internet. That I can do, given the otherwise low rent. Wish me luck. I hope I don't need luck for this, but it can't hurt...
