The Longest Night.

owsf2000Last work night before vacation. Two weeks of nothing to do. Mmmm.. heaven. I live for these paid vacations, which is why when it comes to picking our vacation time I choose both of my weeks so that they're one continuous holiday. The only thing planned of course is to go see the fireworks tomorrow for July 1st.
Why is this going to be the Longest Night? Is it because I'm going to be so excited that time will appear to be moving backwards? No. It's because I have this horrible, dreadful feeling that at least 2 people may call in "sick" tonight thus leaving the rest of us with that extra share of work to do before we can go home.
I hope I'm wrong. Rest assured, if I'm not I'll bitch about it when I get home tomorrow.
