While out today I came across a 80gig maxtor hard drive in the liquidation bin at staples.
My old 30 GB is a Maxtor. If you've hooked it up yet, see if you can tell how much louder or not it is compared to your current one. My newer 80 GB is a Western Digital and the old Maxtor is a loud, clickety monster in comparison. Maybe the one you got is a newer model though and won't be as loud.
It's almost sad how materialistic I seem to be these days with my hobbies and collections. Seems there's pretty much nothing else worth talking about in my life. ^_^;
Heh, I'm pretty much the same way, but more with video games than with anime. I just wish I had the means at the moment to get all those older systems like you've been collecting, though.
