owsf2000I'm pretty sure I've mentioned these guys in the past, but since that would probably be as early as 2005, I'm just going to drop their website link again. They released their 3rd CD for free on their website back in 2005 although obviously they accept donations and have real CDs for sale for those who find they like what they hear. I've been listening to them again today and there's a chance that I might send a donation their way a bit later this month or early next. I'll be sending it snail mail tho since I don't have paypal or a credit card.
Obviously I'll be transferring this CD to the freebie archive in a minute. :)
RabbiTucker: I've been procrastinating on doing real searches for free music downloads from artists. Since you mentioned before you'd be willing to help out with it, feel free to let me know of any bands that have mp3 downloads on their webpage. I'm not too particular about bitrate, although it should be full songs for actual download, not just samples (And not just streaming audio.)
This goes for anyone else as well of course. Just let me know when you guys find stuff and I'll look into it and add as necessary. :) Right now it's mostly just me doing the random searches with Johnathan (of neutralian OW! fame) finding the ocational band for me to check out.

I had Symphony X downloaded already (of course!) although Stratovarius is still impossible for me to grab. The links are there but the server the tracks are on is apparently down or very very picky. Both john and myself attempted to download the songs months ago, and I just tried again then, but no dice.
Either way, more is added, and every bit helps towards the 80gig goal. Thanks!
