Kotaku has an article making note of the recent decision/announcement by WB to offer full refunds for Arkham Knight PC throughout the rest of 2015 on Steam regardless of how much it's been played (or as they quip "attempted to play")
The article also encourages people to get the refund, regardless of if they can play the game or not. If they can't because of the still crippling issues, they should. If they can play it, they should finish up playing it between now and the end of the year then get the refund as well.
The problem is that WB says in their blog for those who are stupid enough to hold on to the game "For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix."
.. The issues that we cannot fix. Sounds to me like they aren't confident that they CAN fix the massive mess the game has turned out to be for most people. Way to go for cutting corners and hiring a dev group that's proved itself incapable. (And since that dev already had at least one failure on their track record, you get what you deserve.)
No idea if there's anyone that actually reads this blog that's picked the game up on PC, but if so I'd recommend a refund as well. Look at it this way - get your money back now and hold on to it. If WB does manage to fix the game correctly then you've got the money on hand to buy a FUNCTIONAL game. If they don't fix it sufficiently, then at least they won't have your money and you can go buy the latest hot game on the market with it.
