mp3 players
Oct. 26th, 2008 04:19 amThe Creative 1gig mp3 player I had is starting to go - the headphone connection is very finicky and has to be placed -just- so in order for me to hear much of any music out of it at all. A simple nudge messes it up. So I went out and bought a new one. This one's got a rechargeable battery so I have to recharge it through the computer (unless I go buy a separate ac adapter - I doubt I will.)
The new one is 4gigs. Up from the 1gig on the Creative, and that was up from the 500megs of the Curtis player I had in 200...6? I'm guessing I'll like it but I'm going to keep the other two around, most notably at work for Emergency Use. If this one dies, I'm not likely going to bother plugging it into my comp at work. I'll just pull out the other two that take AAA batteries and continue on.
