[OW!] I love that tag.
Jun. 2nd, 2007 03:52 pmI was looking at the minpire homepage today and I noticed that the writers guides aren't linked properly. Ooops. Started cross-linking them to the Writers Guide to the Otaku Wars entries, where they existed, and may go ahead and see about digging some WGs out of my ancient offline archive to fill in the gaps. But this isn't really what this post is about.
Now in 2007, there aren't too many OW! websites that seem to still exist online (Even in horribly out of date variants.)
Doing some googling, the only links I found to OW! sites that are in some way shape or form still on the web are:
Mord's Various OW! Websites:
http://mord.dreamhosters.com/ow/
Kane's Fanart Archive
http://www.angelfire.com/anime4/kane_magus/OWart/
Hindu's Archive.
http://home.mindspring.com/~owarchive/index.html
Tucker's OW! Info Page.
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Ring/4563/ow/ow.html
el Pegaso's character page.
http://www.geocities.com/televisioncity/set/1494/elPegaso.html
Cape-Mike's Mako Guide.
http://members.aol.com/Samurai824/owr.html
Tucker's Amichanian page.
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Ring/4563/ow/ami/faction.html
Dreadite's Shogunate page.
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Pagoda/3073/index.html
Icefalcon's Fanart
http://members.tripod.com/Kourino_Taka/
Time Keeper's original OW! FAQ (Before everyone updated it for post-OW!R)
http://www.magpage.com/~sharkins/Owfaq.html
Sprite's Info page.
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Ginza/2777/otakuwars.html
Nyakun's page. (Added from comments!)
http://members.tripod.com/~nyakun/otaku_wars/
Keep in mind that this represents about 10-15% of websites I checked. A heck of a lot are completely dead/offline. (Like everything that use to be on otakuwars.org) A domain troll appears to have snapped up the otakuwars domain now, as it'll just give you a page of ads.
Using the Wayback Machine it's possible to find snapshots of earlier websites that currently no longer exist.
