Service Failure Friday
Jun. 1st, 2007 02:51 pmI had a dream this morning (As I sleep in the morning due to work.) where I ordered a pizza. A slice of pizza that is, from some pizza place. Oddly enough that place looked like the cafeteria checkout at a standard Sobeys store, but that's not important. I ordered a slice of pizza with extra cheese. I always get extra cheese on my subs at subway, so I guess the dream figgered it was appropriate.
They told me the cheese was hard. (Er? O_o) Apparently as in the pizza was cold. Ok, no problem. I was apparently hungry so didn't matter. So they got a plastic plate out, it was transparent. Ok, seemed a little odd, but not outright weird. Then they poured some orange colored salad dressing on it.
WTF? O_o
This is a bit much so I complained about it. She apologized and threw the plate in the garbage. All well and good. Then they took it back out of the garbage and instead decided to clean it. The general dream kinda going out of wack at that point resulting in one infuriated customer at the incompetence of my subconsciousness at being able to operate a non-existent pizza stand in a grocery store.
When I woke up I was kinda thinking "You know. How much you want to bet this is a prediction for how messed up things are going to be today?"
Since then:
1. Subway messed up my order. (Chicken Breast sub instead of Turkey Breast, plus somehow mistaking "cucumber" for "pickle".)
2. I had to guide the bank clerk through the student loan payment form when I went to one of the banks to pay my monthly extortion payment. (There would have likely been several problems with them not actually paying it to my loan most likely had I not made sure they didn't forget various info.)
3. The government's student loan center, where part of my loan is kept, has had their computer system down all day.
That all happened in the first couple hours of being up. I've been afraid to step outside until it's time to go to work since then. ;_;
Oh well. So long as this stuff doesn't follow me to work resulting in massive overtime on a friday, it'll all be ok. *nods*
