Time Flies.
Mar. 25th, 2005 07:00 amWhere the heck did the week go? Oi. Regardless of being a short week, it still seems to have flow by a lot faster. Haven't gotten much done at all this week although I did make sure I bought a reading light for near the bed. Now if I could find a suitable place to put it.
In other news my Krokodile Cartridge and Holiday Qb cart arrived this week from Atari Age. Should be fun stuff, as soon as I get this room cleaned up and the Gemini hooked up to test them out. Perhaps I'll actually start working on my atari homebrew idea beyond the shell of the main asm file and adding graphics. For timing issues it seems I'm going to need to write procedures that explicitly set the color and graphics of the player (it's a lot faster to load immediate values as opposed to fetching values from memory) but this is going to take a big hit on ROM space. There are several different designs for the player's ship. Oh well, I should at least try to determine what kernels I'll need for different situations. After that the main program would just need be able to determine (quickly) which kernels to use when building the screen.
