FF2 and FF3 (NES FF3, not SNES FF3/FF6, of course) are the only mainline FF games that I haven't played yet in any form (aside from the modern Denuvo-laden crap and any of the MMO crap or mobile crap). I think I started original FF2 once on an emulator with a fan translation decades ago, but never got all that far into it. Haven't touched FF3 at all. Not really sure why, aside from just having other things I was more interested in playing, I guess.
And yeah, I think the map thing was in FF6 remaster as well, or at least I vaguely recall Woolie messing with it a few times during their LP anyway.
