3rd Party Account Requirements on Steam

This has quickly become the second type of requirement that earns a Steam game an auto-ignore from me these days. I'm not signing up to a website to play a game on a platform I already had to sign up for. It's really the exact same reason why I have a zero tolerance for additional DRM on Steam - I already signed up and installed Steam, which is a form of DRM.

Reason I'm bringing this up now is because the last few game queues I flipped through had a bunch of these types of games. All of which are now ignored. You'd think Steam would try to keep track of things like this. "Hm. Every time we show this guy a game with third party DRM he quickly ignores it and moves on... PERHAPS WE SHOULDN'T KEEP SHOWING HIM THESE THINGS."

I've played a few games in the past that have required a 3rd party thing, e.g. a few like Child of Light and the South Park games that have required the UPlay bullshit, and Shadow of Mordor and the Batman Arkham games which required WB dumbfuckery, and most recently Red Dead Redemption II and Grand Theft Auto V which required the Rockstar Launcher crap. It's never not been at least a bit of a headache, at best. The games themselves were fine (for the most part), and it's not a complete dealbreaker for me the way some things are, but it's still not great.

And yeah, the Steam Discovery Queue doesn't even keep track of publishers that you've blatantly Ignored, much less trends like that. Honestly, these days, it seems more and more as if the queue was specifically designed to show you shit that they know you won't ever want to buy, rather than stuff you would. Go figure. The only thing I've seen that they actually pay attention to and honor are the tags I've set to be explicitly excluded (my personal list of excluded tags is "Massively Multiplayer," "MMORPG," "Asynchronous Multiplayer," "MOBA," "Match 3," "Sports," "eSports," "Racing," "Card Game," "Trading Card Game," "Clicker," and "Warhammer 40K").

When you exclude a tag (I presume with the "customize your queue" link) is it suppose to show you a list of tags you're already excluding?

As a test I just tried to exclude "MMORPG" myself. It immediately decided to restart a new queue based on my new preferences.

I got half way through the queue when it showed me another MMORPG tagged game... either way it's not showing me any list of tags ignored so I have no idea if adding it worked or not, despite it actively reshuffling the queue. And I don't know how to find out what tags are being ignored - and I doubt I'll remember it.
