Long Weekend Wasted.

With there being a split-shift at work today due to a provincial holiday, I had today off. It's probably a good thing I did. Since Saturday evening, I've been feeling sick. Slept most of last night, and I plan on doing the same tonight. I'm still a little under the weather but it's not as bad as it was yesterday...
Going to try to spend the next couple of hours working on Atari 2600 code. The goal is simple. Write a simple horizontal sprite positioner routine. This is actually a big hurdle in 2600 coding I find. The resulting procedure has to be as fast as possible, as flexible/general as possible, and there's no easy built-in away to do so. x.x I had one working back in 2004 on POS just before it died. I wasn't able to salvage the code from the hard drive.
*edit*
I ended up getting distracted. Started doing design work on a 2600 game idea I had a few days ago just to see if it would be possible. Some highly specialized functions would be needed for the display in some areas no doubt, but going to see if I can draw up some sketches first to see how it would look. I also packed up the 7800 for now with a little cleaning. Not much point in keeping it hooked up for now until I can get some more 7800 games for it. (Basketball and Pole Position II are just not enough to keep my interest. ^_- Now if I can get my hands on a Cuttle Cart II... I'd say it's a safe bet I'd throw all my programming energy into doing a decent homebrew for the system. ^_^;
