Bookmarks R asplode!!

owsf2000Had some computer problems this morning resulting in firefox losing almost all my bookmarks. Basically just the ones that show on the toolbar survived. Thus from now til when I leave on vacation on the 26th-ish, I guess I'll be working on rebuilding my lists. :/

With a bit of help from some irc peoplez I chat with, I was able to restore some bookmark backups from the documents&settings location. So at least I still have them all, but I'm not going to just restore the file.
Instead I'm going to comb through the file and only restore those I want to keep. I've been saying for months that I needed to weed out all the garbage I've bookmarked over the years (things bookmarked to check again later when I had more time - then completely forgotten, etc) so this has become an excellent opportunity to do so.
Also I upgraded to Firefox 3.
