I'm not sure how I got games for myself while christmas shopping, but regardless, I know own Eternal Poison (damn you Atlus!) and Fable: The Lost Chapters. I'm going to assume I don't need the original game for Lost Chapters. >_> I was going to give Lost Chapters to my little sister for christmas since she wanted Fable (which is rated T iirc) but Lost Chapters is rated M. So it's mine instead. ^^

I'll have to pick up the original one for her the next time I'm at Gamezilla it seems. Nowhere else in town that I've been has a copy. (heck, few places even carry original xbox games period anymore. It won't be too long before I expect to see ebgames giving them the push to the curb.) Luckily (for her!) she said she wouldn't mind secondhand games.

*edit*

After a quick glance at ebgames to confirm the rating, looks like the original is also M. She's already been playing it, which is why she knows she wants it but hm. Guess I'll get the ok from our parents prior to going to pick it up.

The Lost Chapters is the full original game of Fable, but with an additional "chapter" added after what used to be the ending, along with some new towns, quests, weapons and other assorted stuff. So no you don't need the original game. It's like Persona 3 FES versus the original Persona 3, in that sense. The whole thing's pretty cool overall, and probably isn't anywhere near as buggy as Fable II currently is. >_> I don't recall there being any huge major bugs in the PC version I played anyway. It's too bad I sold my Xbox copy of Fable back to EB shortly after I picked up TLC a few years ago, though, or I could have sent you that one. :/
