Fear not. I'm working on it and while I spend days thinking about how to go about adding things before touching the source code, I feel I'm well on my way with version 0.002. ^_-
The main game idea is a long way's off, but I'm sure I'll have demos and betas as development progresses - there will probably even be a couple "mini" games that I'll work on at the same time as the work in progress develops. Basically I'll take a finished version 0.0XX source and add some extra bells and whistles to it (That won't remain for future version 0.0XX's as I work towards the holy version 1.000 ^_-) and it would have enough gameplay value to stand on it's own as a unique game.
Of course, I may add elements of that game to the final version 1.000. ^_-
Version 0.002 is mostly conceptualized at this point, I've even written some of the kernel routines on paper (And from my timing/cpu cycle counting) they should be fine. It's just adding the collision detection (easy, I think) and the kernel setup (The hard part remaining.)
