I'm prepping (and have been prepping for the last month) a move/copy from Angelfire to a real hosting service. While I doubt I'll take down what's at Angelfire, I doubt I'll update it either. I'll add a link to the new page on the old main page, and will likely be pointing to the new place directly from my LJ. My brother in law basically set up an account for me on his hosting plan, so I'll be paying him a bit each month in exchange for 5gigs of space. That certainly beats the 20megs on Angelfire, plus no advertising to rape visitors up the ass with a rusty metal bat wrapped in razor wire.

The new site should still have all of the old content (mainly the OW! based webpages) but odds are only a few sections will ever be updated.

I plan on converting the Writers Guide to the Otaku Wars! site into a more useful site for a post-OW! era such as we're in. That is, find all the WGs I can for all the characters I can and host them. Each character would have their own webpage that would host a pic of them from fanart (This is how I have it currently with those that were active while I was in charge of the main WG site.) with a list of WG links, arranged chronologically. Not sure if having the last/most current WG to be on the top or on the bottom tho. This is something that will happen slowly. Don't anyone go expecting it done this year.)

The OWSF!2k website will be redone and updated as the project attempts to move along. Yes, it was never actually dropped. The only people still in the project however seem to be myself, Johnathan, Lennox, and IceFalcon. We still sit in the same channel on esper.net and occationally talk code, etc. By the time Lennox and Icefalcon finish finalizing how the subsystems are going to work together, I'll probably have forgotten the last bit of coding experience I have and be unable to write the main engine. :P

The "Tuxedo Dionysus & Friends" webpage (Essentially TD/NC-Janitor character page) will be updated with all of my posts to the OW!. I had the 2000-2001 posts added, but never got back to it afterward. Something to do.

The OW!RPG project IS technically scrapped. Interest got lost while trying to bugger around with RPG Maker 2000's poor menus. Also tried making the game "unique" so I was going heavy on the customization using those built in script menus. Various things worked, not everything was finished, etc. Battle system was to be somewhere between a cross of FF6 with a few other elements built in - plus a few unique battle systems for special fights. The Day/Night system worked properly, as did the custom "Inn" and save points. At any rate, the webpage will still be up on the new server. If any other old OW!er wants to attempt making the RPG in their own way, be my guest. I can make the sprites and stuff that I had gathered available, although it'll have to be obtained probably either through email (like gmail) or via IRC.

Odds are the main places that will actually get any update other than the above will be me adding new comics/"art" or games (Which will probably end up mostly being homebrew roms of old systems. Downside... not breathtaking in graphics and sound, and likely not even fun to play since I'm the one going to be making it :P but on the up side, they should work fine in an emulator regardless of what OS you're running.)

If I ever learn how to code flash stuff, I'll probably attempt those and make them available as well. At present however I know nothing of flash. Help of any sort in this matter would be appreciated, even if it's pointing me to some useful/informative pages on the subject.
