Apartment Search

You wouldn't believe how useless newspaper classifieds are in apartment searches. Just about every one I called was 'Sorry, already taken.' -_- I do have hope however, I will be checking out a 2 bedroom apartment tomorrow that has heat and hot water included. With those two major problem sources out of the way, there will only be separate bills for phone/net and electricity. Electricity shouldn't cost more than 200 dollars per month without worrying about heat. The phone/net bill should be a constant at around 130. (basic phone service, unlimited long distance evenings plan + high speed internet). It has laundry services in the building which is a BIG plus. (means the washer/dryer won't be sucking up my electricity since it's pay/use.)

References are required, but they shouldn't be a problem... I hope. We haven't had any problems with the current landlord so that should work out sufficiently. He said he could also check with my work, and I'm (to my knowledge ^_^;) known for reliability there. If I take this place, and knowing me I probably will so long as an agreement is reached about when things can be paid, the only downside will be the commute to work. It's a ways off the beaten path so to speak. I've lived further from work and managed to do fine. I'm sure I could hook up with some of the other coworkers for car pools like I use to when I lived at my sister's.

I'll be going to take a look at the place tomorrow afternoon to make sure it's not a dump. From the picture I saw of the outside however, it looks like it will be quite nice. Pray for me. I hate apartment hunting and I hate moving. If this works out, I probably won't be moving so long as I'm employed - and I'd like to think my job is fairly secure at this point.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt to ponder a small home based business next year for a little extra revenue...

Oh, and the net sucks today. Since exactly 12pm, keeping a connection for longer than 5 minutes seems impossible. I'd think something was wrong with the router if it stayed broken, but it starts working again every few minutes. -_- As a result I'm not going to bother returning to IRC until it's working a bit better. Hopefully tomorrow...

DS: While I haven't found all the sprite sets you were looking for, I have found most everything used for OW!RPG, and some of Aureal's earlier ones. (Didn't see Senshi Gemini for instance.) Aureal hangs out in wolf pack's channel, although usually afk, so you can check with here there to see if she still has the master sets she used. If not you might have to go through her webcomic and try patching together sprite sets from the comics themselves. I -should- have Senshi Gemini somewhere, but I haven't seen it yet. Er, and while I have no problem with you using OW!RPG sprite sets, you'll naturally still have to check with Aureal about her own. -_^

For those that don't know, TD (Tuxedo Dionysus, faction leader of the Minakochanians from 1998 to the end) was my character. I kind of forgot the abuse poor TD use to take at the hands of his loyal faction. ^_^ Yet for some reason the creativity of the punishment was probably one of the main highlights that kept me entertained in the early years when the Minpire was strong.
