Light No Fire

So the creators of No Man's Sky is making bold claims of their next game project.

Ha ha. Hard pass. "Fool me once" and all that.

"Years of updates and patches" or not with regards to One Man's Lie, I still have a physical PS4 disc that only contains the base game of the game - that empty, bug filled ... thing. I won't even look at this Light No Fire until years after it's released, and even then for 10 bucks or less. I'm not even going to read any articles from this point out about the game. What's the point, given the bullshit that was said about NMS in articles about that game leading up to release? Nothing but lies about what it would include at launch. The only reason they spent years finishing the game is because their careers would have been over if they didn't, assuming they didn't end up in a class action court if they tried to walk away with everyone's money.

Yeah, same here.

I still don't even know what genre the new game is in, aside from that I saw one of the comments mentioning dragons and magic or something? I just saw the headline on that PC Gamer article and almost immediately scrolled down to the comments, which were mostly filled with similar skepticism to ours (along with a few fanbois, apologists, reputation management drones, and/or hopeless optimists). Maybe I'll actually bother to watch the trailer at some point, but right now I don't feel interested enough to care to do even that much.
