Twitch & PS+
Recently started dabbling with Twitch streaming through the PS4. Mostly just playing some old games I have collections of on the PS4 - Castlevania 3, Castlevania 2, Megaman 2-3.
I may play some No Man's Sky multiplayer with Koby at some point. Was going to play this weekend but never really felt up to streaming. On the plus side I have a headset with a mic know. Silently streaming a game is fine enough when single player but I can just imagine how screwed up NMS will be in multiplayer without being able to communicate. ^^;;
Still figuring twitch out either way. Kinda silly but kinda appropriate I guess that Twitch has "achievements". >_> Given it likes to attract the gamers and all that. I currently don't have Terraria on PS4... I think... but I guess if I see it cheap I could go for that for random streaming as well. Kinda funny how the game use to sell for like 3-5 bucks. Now they're charging 20-30 or so.
So yeah, I upgraded me to PS+ for a year since that'll be needed for multiplayer and currently I can afford it. Ended up buying a few other games/collections at the same time. Of those, there's Shenmue 3 (was about 8 bucks), Sega Genesis Collection (50 games for about 20 bucks), and... and Valkeryia Chronicles 4 Complete. Or however it's spelt. I can't be arsed to go verify right now.
Not sure how Twitch notifications work honestly but if I actually stream at a reasonable hour (Currently doing most streams early in the morning around 4-6am) I'll see about sending a notification before I start.

That being said I'll see if I can organize a bit of streaming on sat night this time. If Koby's free perhaps we'll actually get some multiplayer NMS or something going for a bit. At least there's no grenades for me to randomly toss at him like when we were playing Halo back in the day.

Unlike Terraria, I'm pretty sure that NMS is cross platform, so even if you guys were playing on a console version, I could potentially reinstall my Steam version and we could possibly play multiplayer. That said, A) I've never played it MP before so have no idea what all that would entail, and B) I'd pretty much be starting from scratch again, since I had deleted all my saves from my original playthrough before starting my previous abortive playthrough. I dunno how far into it you guys are.
Also, I don't have a headset or mic or anything like that, so outside of in-game text chat or whatever, I'm not sure how communication would go. ^^;
In any case, though, it's something that might be possible to happen at some point maybe. Just putting it on the table.

If we play NMS it'll be starting up something new. I haven't even turned NMS on yet - took hours just to download the patch to it. I hope to play it a bit prior to doing any multiplayer if only so I can get use to the controls.
