Modern Gaming?

So here I sit at the computer, completely bored out of my mind.

Yet it's difficult for me to consider turning on the PS3. I swear the game industry seems to have succeeded in beating any enjoyment I had with this hobby out of me.

I think I'll go watch a movie then go to sleep...

I'm more and more feeling the same way. While I do play PC games rather often (though those are only the cheap <$15 or so games I've gotten on Steam and GOG and such), I've only rarely bothered to turn on any of the consoles lately. Aside from the 3 or so hours it took to get through the new Batman DLC, and playing a few indie games I downloaded months ago on XBLA, I haven't had much use for them at all. There's just too much crap involved these days with modern gaming to make it worthwhile or fun. :/
