Maybe they'll have it fixed before the Steam version is released. Then again, I don't even have Ys SEVEN yet, and won't be getting it any time soon, so no point in me worrying even a little bit about VIII. And, for that matter, I have played none of the other Ys games (I, II, Origin, VI, that other one) that I do have on Steam yet, either... so... yeah. *shrug*
