Regular Updates
Been thinking about trying to get back into updating my website. Of course, I suck at doing that. I also suck at all the things I'd likely update it with too!
Still, getting into a habit of updating every day or something might not be that bad. Even if I just have scribbles to scan in, a rant to make, etc etc.
I'm currently on vacation. My plans to actually go somewhere for it got axed a few days in advance by having a ferry I was going to need to take running itself into a wharf. :P This impacts service for the remaining ferries for the rest of the month, which throws all the timing off between the ferry and the buses that I'd also need to take. Which means I'd be spending about 24hrs or more sitting in hot, humid, uncomfortable ferry terminals.
I've done that many times already. I couldn't bring myself to willingly put myself through it again.
So staying home! I'll plan a better vacation next year that isn't so dependent on things working well.
But for now I have 2 weeks off work, which is plenty of time to get myself all set up to start working on my projects again. The projects mostly include the types of things already found on my website, although I may dabble in other things as well in time. I haven't done any homebrewing for the Atari 2600 in almost 3 years now. o.o That needs to change, as well as adding the Atari 7800 to the list of consoles to program for.
Tonight I hooked my scanner/printer back up to the comp and reinstalled the software for it.
Scanner is working. I'll have to double check the printer a bit later. The ink is still in the cartridges, but odds are I'll have to make it do a self-cleaning a few times to make sure the nozzles are working.
In addition to projects I'm planning on doing a few other things, like getting a bit more exercise and perhaps attempting to cook something new once or twice. We'll see how that goes. >_>
