Until MS realises that no-one's biting and stops support for the original version.
Yeah, just like they killed Scrolls (http://owsf2000.livejournal.com/113873.html), they'll be killing dedicated servers for Minecraft before too long, I'm sure. Seriously, every time you hear about "Mojang" doing something these days, just mentally swap in "Microsoft" for "Mojang" and it'll all make much more sense. It's like how every time I hear about "BioWare" or "Maxis" or whoever doing anything nowadays (back before they actually killed Maxis (http://kane-magus.livejournal.com/759472.html) [again]), I just mentally swap in "EA" instead.
